Snow!

Well - sort of....

The Hill Country Galleria brought in snow on Saturday for kids to play in.  We got there at the end and most had melted...but Abby got to see it and walk around on it for a bit.  She wasn't so sure she liked it. :)

Holidays at the Guggenheims

Christmas is my favorite time of year...and I think Abby is really starting to get into it also. :)  We had a great weekend...see it below in pictures!

*Our country club held a gingerbread house making affair today.  I'm not sure who was more excited, Abby or Mommy!  The house is fully edible, but each piece may or may not have been pre-licked by a 2 year old. :)

Happy 2nd Birthday Sweet Girl

TWO YEARS OLD!

I can't believe how time flies.  I can't believe you are already two years old.  I love to see your personality now, you're a little stinker most of the time, but sure can turn on the charm.  But most of all, you are so much fun.  We love you more each and every day.

Today we had so much fun at the park, and the bounce houses and playing with Aunt Heather.   Daddy is in London but is here with us in spirit!

Happy Birthday baby girl.

Abby's 2nd birthday party!

We decided to celebrate Abby's party a week early this year and to do it in Ennis at Great Grandpa Abram's house.  We had such a good day!  The theme was Dalmatian and we had lots of pizza and cake and presents!  Abby is so blessed to have so many people that love her and were able to celebrate her birthday with her.  She got tons of gifts, everything from clothes to puzzles to stuffed animals to food for her new play kitchen.  She's one lucky little girl.

Halloween!

Forget the spoon, hands are so much easier.

Yucky!

Finished product!  Abby's first Jack-o-lantern!

Halloween night we went to our block party and Abby
got to hang out with her teacher, Ms. Jo, who
also happens to be our neighbor (and cat-woman!)

Big cheese for the camera!

Abby didn't trick-or-treat this year,
but she was a champ at handing out the candy!

Lakeway balloon festival

The weekend before Halloween we went out to Lakeway, TX.  They were having a hot air balloon festival to celebrate Halloween.  Abby loved all the balloons...but I think Daddy might have been even more excited than her.

Ethan's party

Abby has two friends that went from Room 4 to Room 8 with her back in the summer.  And since then, they've all become really good friends.  So when we went one of their birthday parties, they had a blast!

Uno...

Abby has taken to counting in spanish now!  She will just start up out of the blue so today I grabbed our phone to try and video it in the car.  They do Spanish class once a week at her school and she loves it!

Firetrucks, helicopter and police cars!

We were out and about on Saturday morning when a CareFlight helicopter landed in the Home Depot parking lot.  Of course we had to go see what was going on!  Thankfully, it was not a rescue...but instead a Home Depot Kids Workshop!  We got in line and were given a wooden helicopter to build, a kid size Home Depot apron and got to look inside the helicopter and firetruck.   Abby loved all of it!

Newsletters

Since Abby is now in the toddler program, we get weekly newsletters that tell us what she will be doing that week per their curriculum.  And they are great when I'm trying to figure out what new song she is singing. :)  I love reading these, so I thought I'd share!
