Swimming!

Today, Matt and I took Abby to our Country Club pool for the first time. She did so good! Not one peep. She just sat there and took it all in. She loves watching other kids - and she loves water. So it was a perfect combo! I think we'll be spending a lot of time there this Summer!

Our pediatrician told us to introduce water as well as cups/sippy cups now. She loves them both! Where did my tiny little baby go?

A girl can never have to many toys...

Great-Grandpa Abram

Abby had a good time spending the weekend with Aunt Heather and Great-Grandpa Abram last weekend!

6 Months Old!

Sweet girl is 6 months old. My how time flies. She's sitting up on her own now and itching to start crawling. I sometimes wish she would just slow down on the growing!!!

Rabbit, rabbit

Abby ate carrots. But not only that - she ate them without any gagging...and she even opened her mouth for the bites! We got only maybe a couple of teaspoons in her before she was done, but we are so proud of her. Now if we can just work on that "this is sooo gross" face she does with each bite, we'll be good to to.

TEETH!!

I heart blocks

Abby's most favorite toys right now are these cheap plastic blocks that came inside a plastic barn. She's so easy to please!

Success! er, sort of?

Today we tried apples...and she ate them! Well, maybe a total of 1/2 oz or maybe less...but at least she opened her mouth for them and "chewed" (in between the hideous this is gross face). And we only got one gag. I think this is the start of something!

Happy Mother's Day!

Abby's daycare made little gifts for all the Mommy's. Finger-painted hand prints on a pot with a picture flower and a poem.

I'm so lucky. ;)

Daycare Diaries...Part 4

Only Abby plays with the toys.

I took off work yesterday and spent the whole day with Abby at home (well, and her ENT appointment). When I got to daycare today her teacher told me that after I called yesterday and said she wasn't coming in, they picked up all the fun toys that are scattered around the room and put them away. Apparently "Abby is the only one that plays with the toys...the others just stare at them and aren't sure what to do". :)

So today she was glad to see Abby and went and pulled them all out again for her.

She has them trained already!
