Girl has got some moves!

Party Time

All of Abby's friends are turning 3, so we have at least one birthday party every weekend (sometimes two!). Her favorite places are the bounce houses...when all her friends are there.  She goes crazy and it's so hard to keep up with her!

Sweet Berry Farm

Today we went out to Sweet Berry Farms to get our Fall pumpkins and enjoy the cooler weather we are having today.  They have so much to do there - we were there all morning!  We started the day painting a pumpkin, then we fed the goats, then we pick flowers that are now sitting beautifully on the kitchen table, then we stuffed a scarecrow (whom Abby immediately named "Princess").  She's found her home on our front porch rocker.

I love this farm and can't wait to go back again in the Spring when they do strawberries and vegetables!

First day of Pre-School!

I'm a little late posting it, but I snapped this photo of Abby's first day of pre-school.  She was a little nervous because she knew something was going to be different that day, and wasn't 100% clear on what that meant.  But she's perfectly happy now and excited to be in a new "big" class room.

Tea for Two...

I walked into the playroom this past weekend after hearing lots of British accents and something about tea (why we have to talk in an accent, not sure, just seems right).

Abby had dressed Matt up and they were having a Tea Party.  She has a chest of dress up clothes with jewelry and accessories, and they look so good on Matt!

Synchronized Swimming

Abby loves her swim class so much - and when the girls were getting ready to dive in this past weekend, I couldn't pass up this photo op!

Bluebonnet 2011-2012

Abby's teacher gave us a slideshow of pictures taken throughout the year at her school.  She started off so small and has grown so much!!

Gymnastics

Abby started gymnastics this week and loves it!  The teacher gave us a long lecture at the beginning about how most kids are at first intimidated or shy to get on the equipment, but don't push them let them explore, yadda, yadda, yadda.

The second we told Abby she could go play - off she went at full speed.

She also practiced her front rolls over and over and over again on the mats.  The teacher was quite impressed with her skills for never having been in a class before.  We got to be with her during class since we just started, but by her birthday (or maybe even before) she will be taking these classes by herself.  

Watch for her at the Olympics in 2024. :)

Diving

Abby is also into the diving competition at the Olympics.  So much so she decided to "practice" and jump along with them.  :)  This was a back flip dive.  I give her a solid 10!
