Videos - Elsa and Elmo?

Blake's latest obsession (besides balls) is Elmo. That kid loves him some Elmo!!

See video here:

And speaking of other four letter names that start with "E", Abby and Blake have this game they play every day.  Every.Day.All.Day.

Abby: Blake say Elsa
Blake: Nooooooooo

Repeat

It's actually pretty funny and I was finally able to get a little video of it here:

Summer Camper!

Abby started Summer Camp this week and so far so good.  She is having a blast and has already taken her first field trip to Central Market!

Dancing Queen!

Last night was Abby's dance recital dress rehearsal and my first time to be a "backstage mom".  That is definitely an experience I won't forget anytime soon!

The girls were so excited - about wearing makeup and dressing up and getting to dance on a big stage.   There was so much energy in the room it was crazy!!!

Here is my girl posing before the show...  and below is the video of their rehearsal. SO CUTE!!

And so it begins...

Me: Abby, did you just wipe off my kiss?

Abby: Um, no.  I was just moving it to my hand.

Awesome.

Crazy kids!

And this is what happens when you leave them alone with a box of cereal.

Blake can "just" see over the top of the Learning Tower!

That's a little better.  And so exciting why don't we scream about it!

Abby's first piano recital!

Last night was Abby's very first piano recital.  I was worried she might be to shy to play in front of a bunch of people, but that girl had no fear! She was so ready to get up there and play and she rocked it!  Aunt Teri just so happen to be in town and was able to come with us, fortunately, since Matt was in San Francisco and while I wrestled Blake in the back she got a front row spot for this video.  {make sure to go to the blog so you can watch it!}

I'm so, so proud of Abby!!!

This is what concentration looks like!

SOLD!

Ready to get this started!  Hoping our new home will be finished by November before the holidays start up!

Mother's Day...Abby style

Abby made me a sweet picture frame with a photo of her in it, and also gave me this awesomeness from school for Mother's Day!

Not only do I make her food, I also forgot to buy it.  hmm.

Picture Post!

I was looking back at all my iPhone pictures and decided to just do a fun "picture post" of randomness!

So much more fun with two!!

Abby and her BFFs Keira and Emilee

So much fun to wake up sister!

Summer Camps! (sniff)

Abby's Kindergarten class is over at the end of May, and we had to decide to either move her to a younger class for "daycare" this summer, or put her in Summer Camps (still at her same school).  So summer camp it is!!  Not sure when my little girl grew up, but she's officially a big kid now and will be doing all sorts of cool stuff this summer and going on lots of field trips. :)  Check out her fun-filled summer coming up!

Cooking Camp
June 2 - June 6. (1 week)
Would you love to learn to cook? Our campers will learn basic culinary skills as they create a delicious meal and snack. Another fun project will be creating a booklet of simple, tasty and healthy recipes to cook at home as they learn about proper nutrition and healthy eating. At Central Market students will tour the bakery, taste and learn about different fruits and vegetables.

Animal Adventures
June 9 - June 20. (2 weeks)
Campers will love their visit to the Austin Aquarium where they will have hands-on interactions with some of the animals. There will be other opportunities to feed touch and even hold animals when a veterinarian visits with pet animals.

Geology Rocks
June 23 - July 11 . (3 weeks)
Did you know the land where Austin sits today was once beneath the sea? Campers will find fossils of sea animals which sank into the mud long ago and which now are rocks. Find out how to identify different kinds of rocks why they are different. To learn even more about rocks this session will include a field trip to Longhorn Caverns.

Imaginarium
July 14 - July 25. (2 weeks)
Journey through the wacky, wild and wondrous world of your imagination! Campers will enjoy six different exhibits at the Thinkery, Austins new children’s museum. Back at Bluebonnet, campers will be encouraged to create art that is expressive, original and unique to them. We’ll have a guest artist share with us different techniques of painting and the wide range of art and sculpture.

all aboard
July 28 - August 8. (2 weeks)
Campers will take a step back in time when they step aboard the vintage Austin Steam Train. They will also be introduced to many other kinds of travel and transportation around the worlds. Campers will build their own trains and learn about trains of yesterday and trains of today.

Rockets to Space
August 11 - August 21. (2 Weeks)

Experience a real rocket blast off! The Mad Science folks will spend time with us to teach about propulsion and learn about different kinds of rockets. Have you ever wondered what it is like to live and work in space? Learn about astronauts aboard the International Space station and what a day in their lives is like.
