Kid Wash

I saw this on a blog last week and decided we HAD to do this!  It's pushing 100 degrees and it's only June - I wanted something that would be fun, different and a good way for Abby to cool off while playing outside this summer.

And here it is - our very own "Kid Wash"!

Waterpark

Matt and I both got off work a little early on a Friday afternoon, just in time to see Abby at her school waterpark.  She gets to go twice a week and absolutely loves it.

Dance Class

Abby started her dance class this week!  I just want to eat her up she's so cute in her little leotard and ballet shoes.  We asked her several times what they did in class, and she doesn't say much.  But she did a couple poses...so maybe?  I'm hoping to catch some of it on the cameras they put in the room for parents to watch.

Trampoline fun!

Abby loves the "jumping place" so much and has gotten quite good at navigating the trampolines and turning them into slides. :)

T-ball!

Abby's class has been practicing T-ball and yesterday was their first big game.   It was the "Crazy 8's" vs. "The Lil' Niners"...i.e. Room 8 vs. Room 9.

They went all out and her class tie-dyed shirts as their jerseys, colored sun visors & we got "official" programs with her name in it.  All the parents came out and they were getting "warmed up" by running around outside and then everyone stood while the National Anthem played!

Each took a turn at bat, and a turn playing outfield.  Abby WACKED the ball and took off like a pro around all the bases!  That's my girl!!!

Dentist

Abby's first visit to the dentist was last week and she was such a trouper!  No tears, no fussing, a perfect little angel. We did have to do some major convincing to let the dentist in her mouth, but she did it and her teeth look great!

Here she is with her crazy glasses on since the light was so bright. :)  Matt says she looks like she's in a space ship!
